Lahore Qalandars lodged complaint against Wasim Imad and Amir for showing indecent gesturesFollowing the grave incident, Qalandars’ authorities have also filed a complaint against Kings’ captain Imad Wasim, pacer Mohammad Amir and president Wasim Akram for showing indecent gestures and using foul language with their guests’ sitting in their enclosure.

Talking to behtareen.pk, Qalandars’ team manager Mr. Sameen Rana has confirmed that the team management had officially lodged a complaint with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). “We have lodged a complaint with PCB and they are investigating the matter,” informed Rana. “Now it is the duty of the board to investigate and decide whether three of them were involved in the indecent activity or not,” he added.

Rana showed disappointment on Wasim Akram, Muhammad Amir and Imad Wasim for using indecent gestures towards Qalandars’ guests. “There were families sitting at our enclosure, including Muhammad Hafeez’s family as well,” he told.

He was also not very happy with PCB for ‘mishandling’ the matter at first. “Yesterday, when it all happened, the board mishandled it at first. The ground security pointed someone in the crowd and made him responsible,” he told. According to BBC Urdu report, the ground security investigated senior journalist Owais Tauheed and Qalandars’ official Rana Jawad on complaint of Wasim Akram and also took their accreditation cards.

The same report also quoted Salman Iqbal, who denied all charges on behalf of his team. “It was very disappointing to witness foul language from Lahore Qalandars stand towards legend like Wasim Akram,” told Iqbal. “We have formally lodged a complaint with match referee and chairman PCB, Mr. Ehsan Mani,” he added.

“It is not Pakistan versus India but Pakistan Super League and we all need to show decency,” told Iqbal.

According to sources, Karachi Kings’ haven’t received any formal complaint either from Lahore Qalandars or PCB.
